Astron is a stylish and contemporary three-star hotel located in the island capital – Pigadia. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers alike, the hotel is just within a 15 minute walk of the town center. Built in 1991 by the Vitoris family on a 15000m2 lot, originally with 29 rooms it portrays a unique decor in Karpathian architecture. Beautiful flourishing gardens enhance and embellish the natural low stone walls and small piazzas, were the Aegean lays beyond.
Astron is renovated yearly, and has expanded due to demand. The hotel comprises of 68 modern superior suites, studios, and rooms. All are detailed in wood, and some with a traditional Karpathian “soufa”. 24 hour reception and our bar is open late, great for social holiday nights. En-suite bathrooms with shower cabinet, kitchenette, data-ports in all rooms and suites, working desks, dining room tables, sofa beds, satellite T.V., a restaurant and dining area.
